Betty Clark has maintained a private studio since 1983. Her current studio
is located at 2000 Riverside Drive in Asheville, NC. Clark attended Agnes
Scott College and graduated from Georgia State University with honors in
Art in 1983 and relocated to Western North Carolina. Her abstract paintings
are exhibited in group shows throughout the southeast, and she has had
numerous solo exhibitions including the Asheville Art Museum and the Fay
Gold Gallery in Atlanta, GA. Clark is the recipient of several grants,
and her work is in collections throughout the United States, both corporate
and private. Dale Neal of the Asheville Citizen-Times says, "This
is abstract art at its most heroic."
